Yup. iPhones were interesting when they came out, but I wasn’t a fan of how they were essentially pocket computers that you had no control over.

Android came and solved that problem… And now Google is trying to make Android into another iOS.

I’m seriously considering a dumb phone for my next device unless we have an affordable option for a Linux phone, because I have little faith that Android will still be worth my while in another 5-10 years.

No shock here at all… This is why we need affordable Linux phones. There is a nonzero chance that my next phone could be a basic dumb phone that I do nothing with but the bare basics.
