You have 2 options for the S. Aim for 60 fps, or 30fps. If you target 60, most newer engine titles will look like the new Doom did at 60 fps, garbage. You have to run at such a low resolution to make it possible. At 30fps, you can at least not look like your screen is smeared with vaseline at the sacrifice of smoothness.

Give the player the option of 30/60 so they we can play how we want.

A lot of people didn’t like Assassins Creed Odyssey, but I loved it. Only AC I’ve played since 2.

My first play through I got to oil production and restarted because I could see the complexity scale up fast and figured a clean slate would be easiest. I then got to the 1st stage of nuclear stuff and promptly stopped. I have yet to play again because I was waiting for the first patch a few months ago, and then heard they were working on controller support. I have a couple games I’m going to finish up and then start round 3 to see if I can increase efficiency to make it a smoother transition into nuclear. I had a massive bottleneck with building computer components that made it really tough to begin the nuclear options.

I honestly wouldn’t mind replaying over and over and just stopping at aluminum/nuclear just because it gets a bit overwhelming.

I agree, Mass Effect was/is gaming pop culture at one point. Almost every gamer I know has played or at least very familiar with ME. That number is maybe 1/4th for DA.

This is why the original commenter shouldn’t get downvoted for asking about 10 iot benchmarks because I, too, am looking to convert to this version when consumer 10 support ends this year. If it works on my desktop well, I’d likely try it on my Rog Ally.

There is plenty of software that doesn’t, and plenty of games that don’t run on Linux, even beyond anticheat games. If it wasn’t true, we wouldn’t need protondb telling us what is and isn’t. You can advocate for Linux all day, but you have to admit there is still software that is 100% Windows only.

I think it’s a valid comparison request due to some things just flat out not being compatible with Linux.

Unquestionably GOTY for me. It’s also the best game I’ve played in years. I am not a diehard rpg player but have played plenty since the 90s. I describe it as a love letter to the best jrpgs made, but without the long drawn-out stories.

It is turn based, something I wish FF would return to. There are quick time events for every action, it’s not absolutely necessary to do on certain difficulty, but really helps. There is a dodge and parry mechanic that you really should use to help survive.

If you are a fan of turn based rpg, you should check it out.

I swear I will get officially diagnosed and medicated this year. I know I’ve said it for about a decade, but this is the year, lol.

I’m a huge introvert, but if I can get past the initial hurdle of getting my ass motivated to actually meet with people, I have a good time. I’ve also been in sales/public facing jobs for most of my working life, which blows people away when they realize how antisocial I can be. I mask very well.

Most of the time, it’s how much juice is left in my social battery that dictates what I end up doing. I will avoid my best friends of 20+ years if I’m not in the mood.

It is the LEAST intuitive UI of any popular app I’ve ever seen. I was recently trying to join a channel from a website that required a code to input, and absolutely couldn’t get it to work.
