Yes, competition is good.
It is just a problem when the competition is big tech and can ignore everybody else as they get even more money from somewhere else like Azure.

I think the there are better alternatives for backup like kopia and restic. Even seafile. Want protection against ransomware, storage compression, encryption, versioning, sync upon write and block deduplication.

If the law is implemented, I would selfhost my own chat server. I don’t see this as Signal fault.
But everybody can`t selfhost. That is a problem I am struggling with.
I am now sure what I would do about email, I assume it is affected as well?

Well, I never gave them permission to install Google Chrome. Maybe they should start thinking about their self first…

I tried to switch to podman one year ago but my compose file failed. I use advanced networking where i want all traffic coming from specific source ip, including DNS. When they fix that, then i will switch as i no longer have any container that requires root.
What can the users do about it? Maybe it is time to look into more distribution systems instead?

Ability to automatically turn wifi on and off with screen.
I am glad someone can admit it failed and we have to learn from this. I am just wondering what it takes to succeed.

Why did go back to 9%? They all forgot about that theat or what?

Wow. Impressive. And in Sweden we are only 2% or something like that. Why so many in Norway. How did you do it?

But it is only in the US and not globally. Anyway, competition is good.

You don’t know the exact content of the files. He did not show those vidoeclips. I dont know if you can buy that or not. Sure it can be indication but in general you dont know as it varies between video to video if it is possible to buy.
This is why you should have file history versioning on. With backup this is a most.

I am just wondering if it would be better to go straight to fiber instead of ethernet as most have fiber to the home anyway. That should help with future speed upgrades beyond 10Gbit as well.
Fiber is also more power efficient? Why not?

And how many times was all that code rewritten?

Sure, test it, but in a virtual machine first. Then read up what you actually want.

It is actually a competitor. Mean Microsoft have to improve if they want to keep the users. With the Windows 10 EOL soon they will give up on those users on those computers. Basically forcing anyone else to take care of them - Linux stands there welcoming them. Users just need a push or someone saying try this for free.
Microsoft makes all the decisions for you.
Try using a virtual machine before doing a full switch
I think on laptops Windows i trying to encrypt the drives. Maybe online if you are logged in to a Microsoft account for bitlocker to save the encryption key. Encrypting the drives should be your decision to take.
Ctrl + a or crtl + e is start or end of line?
