Well the holidays have people out on vacation and such. So it’s a bad time to try and organize interviews. The fiscal calendars I have seen are usually only a few months off. So that could explain the march thing, as it would be near the end or begining of fiscal years.
I have yet to work for a company who’s fiscal calendar year follows the normal calendar.
It really should be. We should be putting all the peoeple that direct trillions to the military instead of medical research in jail.
You would expect a lot of security measures that aren’t actually ever followed at a lot of companies because they cost money. And I don’t mewn that the safe costs money. Paying someone to manage the safes and ensure they are used correctly (like no sticky note with the combo on the side). That is where the real cost is.

If they were truely “rare” books, then the owner wouldn’t have sold it to an AI company. People who collect rare books are usually very choosy about who they sell them to. Now I don’t like them destroying books in general, but I suspect the word rare in this article is likely not what most people would actually call rare.
I actuaally like the look of the cybertruck. Probably just because it is something different. Most cars eesm to be nearly all the same these days. That said, everything about the cyber truck besides the look is terrible. Soo many rushed choices… and of course there is Elon. I like that he does things regular companies wouldn’t. But how he does them is generally horrible. And of course, he is horrible too.
I prefer they show their true colors in interviews. Makes it so much easier to not get the job. If they read your resume and gave you an interview but then claim you are under qualified, it is them who wasted your time.
Yes and no. It took a law suit to overturn the tariff. So a lawsuit against passing the tarrif cost to customers makes sense. Customers can say they only paid it because it was the law at the time.

No, they aren’t terrified. These people think they are demigods. I’ve seen it in plent of senior vice presidents even. It’s almost a job requirement at this point. Body guards make them feel even more important, and the company pays for it. Plus… that other tech bro has it, so I should too. That’s just the type of people we are dealing with.
Anything that involves more than a few hundred people goes bad. So create a new community every time you hit a certain criteria.
I think it is more the opposite. They have worked with some people who are terrible at their job. And the idea that those terrible people would get the same pay angers them. And that is the trick. How does a union ensure the people who do a good job actually get paid better than those who don’t. The answer is of course that they can’t. This is because there is no objective standard for doing a good job in tech. Everyone’s idea of a good job is different.

They don’t have to ban imports, just control WHO can import. And as long as those companies are jnder their thumb, they can control which consumers can have what.
On the damage side. Personal purchases of components pales in comparison to commercial. So they could live with damage to the personal sector. And of course it will make a whole new way for the to extract profit via yet another middle man.
It really was a waste of an article. I think I am dumber for having read it. It failed to provide any real information on what was seen preceeding the dotcom bust. Just some super generalizations of no value.
Also, it refers to these mythical investors who supposedly think about earning potential and all that. Most really don’t. They invest because they think the stock will go up. And usually that has more to do with if they think others will buy it than the Financials of the company. SpaceX is a great example of that.
I get the point and idea behind the existence of the “most people understand…” argument. A hot dog isn’t actually made from dog. But when it comes to truth vs lies… if you aren’t an entertainer, you just shouldn’t be allowed to lie. And if you are an entertainer, it needs to be beyond obvious in you marketing and such that you are an entertainer. If you channel is called anything news, you are not an entertainer. Google search can be entertaining, but almost no one would say it is entertainment. So there is just no justification for it lieing with impunity.
Right… I’ve been “programming” for 20+ years (though not as a developer). Something about golang just won’t click in head. May e it would be easier without the years of perl, tcl, and python. But I am sure it ain’t no “easy” language.
