wow 🤩

What?
What the fuck?
They are just going to let Nintendo be the last physical game producer?
Physical copies are about to cost so much, fuck them!

That and you have to get the parts and build it yourself, which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea

It’s sarcastic because you obviously aren’t an idiot for buying a lifelong license to a product.
If anything most of the time it’s supposed to be the right choice (I’m only talking about licenced product, not ownership).
Especially if it’s a tool you use regularly.
At no point these people where supposed to “know better and not buy this”. Microsoft just did a rugpull.
I wasn’t aware of all the bullshit these companies were doing back in 2019, but I recall it wasn’t full blown enshittification yet.
For your second ask, it doesn’t make it better or lesser, it just adds shock value, engagement baiting.

I think it’s just sarcastic

Nooo, it’s only me who can look at underage nudes, not the underage people!!

Microsoft outlook is a failure.

Just imagine the scenario, you arrive at work and you see your boss at your desk with a smirk on his face. “Hello Carole, starting today I want you to keep tabs on those bathrooms got it?👏🙂”

What the fuck? Who has enough money/time in this world to keep tabs on toilet passage?

Brake drifting was so satisfying to discover. When the 200cc mode came out on Wii U I struggled so much until I found out about it, but discovering it alone without a guide was very satisfying.

California is making computers shittier for the rest of the world. Sorry for lashing out, fuck you!

The world when it’s my time to be an adult

I don’t think they know that compilers have a setting to optimize their results

Cool game

Hoping you don’t ever have to think about DDR3.

In the problem of files organisation, this seems to only push it elsewhere.
Because now, if I make another game with my cowboy for example, I need to remember to take the shooting component with me. And all other components I would have made linked to this cowboy.
This would look like:
/components/shooting/shooting.tscn
/components/shooting/gunshot.ogg
/player/player.tscn
/npc/cowboy/cowboy.tscn
/npc/turret/turret.tscn
I guess this mitigates the issue at least 🤔

It’s a mixed bag.
Sometimes I have a really useful thing that’s shared by almost all “main” nodes. (Let’s say 20-30%
Sometimes I have a small texture with only one purpose. (20-30% also)
Other times, for example I have these .anim files that are used for 2 different enemies.
Should those be in a shared_asset directory or duplicated along their respective scenes. (Most of the time)

That’s the thing I keep telling people around me. It’s not only RAM. Too many critical components have ram.
If you increase RAM, you increase computer prices. (And I’m talking ALL kinds of computer, from microcomputers to desktop to servers)
If you increase computer prices you increase costs for almost everything
