LOL i’m still not going back to windows

LOL i’m still not going back to windows

it’s karma kicking them in the balls for that stupid follow the train mission in SA

my guess is the footage leaks will cost rockstar $0.00 in sales, and might actually make more people buy it than if there were no footage
it’s rockstar’s own shitty behavior that will cost them sales

if it’s an article about the government doing something shitty for the non-billionaire consumer with a completely ridiculous bullshit justification, then it’s probably true
elon musk probably started whining that widespread 1GB fiber infrastructure would hurt his starlink money

lol fuck that douchebag

i was so squeamish about switching to linux after using windows since the 90s. so thank you MS for all the absolutely intolerable bullshit in win11 which compelled me to finally go linux and ditch windows forever
and i love the bonus of getting to laugh at every article about MS desperately trying to regain a shred of the consumers’ not-quite-trust they’ve been shitting on for the last 15-20 years
go fuck yourself MS

maybe libby would be a better analogy? doesn’t matter. point is sony is doing nothing but removing reasons why someone should buy a ps5

Which isn’t that different from not being able to install PC games to anything other than a PC
that’s true, except the difference being you connect the ps5 to a tv, right? or a monitor–either way the ps5 itself typically pretty much stays in one place. i buy a game once on steam, and install it on a desktop and a laptop. i start a game at home, the save game gets synced, and i pick up where i left off on my laptop whenever i get to where i’m going. without paying a subscription. a lot of people include a steam deck in that mix. that’s the advantage of all digital–buy it once, take it anywhere. or only on a ps5 you’re logged into
i don’t know what reason they gave for getting rid of discs, but the huge advantage of discs is that you can sell your games and/or buy used games. i’m doubting that sony will let you do that with digital copies–steam doesn’t even let you do that
all this to say it was a really dumb decision that absolutely shits on sony buyers–the more discs you’ve bought, the more you’ve just been shat on.

exactly like steam. which has basically been the netflix of video games for many years. and now all of a sudden sony getting rid of discs.
does sony let you save games in the cloud for free? install games on multiple simultaneous different devices (even different OSs)?

if i ever had any shred of interest remaining in buying a console, it’s gone now. do they think they’re going to be the netflix of video games? good luck trying to compete with steam…

maybe i’m getting my terminology bass ackwards, but i thought PCB meant just the platform with connections between contact points, hence printed circuit board, while a motherboard is a PCB with all the components, integrated shit (BIOS, onboard graphics/audio, wifi, etc.) soldered on and ready to build

the articles says PCB are set to rise 50% but the post title says mobo prices are going to rise 50%-- which is it? those are vastly different things

it’s for the surveillance for the christotechnofascists who need to convince all the pearl clutching evangelist deadbedroom karen moms that their kids are going to instantly become satanic infant eaters if they catch a glimpse of how infants get made, in order to get them foaming at the mouth to vote against everything except what the billionaire owner class wants
the messaging is pretty much “you shouldn’t have to be responsible for raising your own fucking kids–that should be up to the internet, public school, and libraries”
and of course those gullible chuds lap it all up like hogs at the trough

if you have kids and think you’re going to stop them from ever looking at titties, that’s on YOU, not the entire rest of the world

rich corrupt fascligarchs couldn’t care less about your kids’ education, let alone "too much screen time. they need manual laborers from the peasant class, they don’t need a generation of educated adults who have the capacity to form their own opinions regardless of what they’re told to believe
so the answer is simple: label access to information as evil, and then eliminate said access
