Thanks! So then the judgement is two fold. First to split chrome from google. Second to restrict google from paying to be the default search engine on any browser.

Would other search engines be able to “pay to be default”? My understanding is if this went through then browsers wouldn’t be able to take money from any search engine to be the default.

Phones are living a lot longer than 2 years these days and while there have been some jumps in performance YoY, 2-4 year old phones perform basic tasks just as well as their new counterparts.
I worked on a legacy application that was built in the 90s that implemented time zones by taking the Unix timestamp at eastern time and then added or subtracted the minutes needed to represent that time zone. shudder

Chrome is the only browser that supports it. Luckily you only need it the when setting up an ESP32 for the first time and can do updates wirelessly.

Same here. 300w with 12 disks, switches, and router. But electricity only costs $.12/kwh. I wouldn’t trust having terabytes of data in the cloud.
