3·2 months agoThat would be maddening. It seems wild that all of these voice assistants (LLM or no) are a decade old and still have very basic issues and limitations. I wonder if these huge companies are bad at product development or if it’s simply a doomed category?

How can they enforce this for apps not on the play store?
Checks will be built into the operating system and run on install attempts
Like if write my own APK will my phone just refuse to run it if I don’t go through some paperwork with Google?

121·5 months agoSeems oversimplified and hyperbolic. The economy will always need people because people are the demand. And because markets are largely unpredictable, supply relies on people making strategic decisions. That will never change. Not everything can be quantified, collected, analyzed, and automated

5·8 months agoIt’s worth noting these companies try to capture & record every inch of a city before entering the market there. Without these models the vehicles would drive significantly worse. This isn’t really a scalable business model from what I’ve read
They don’t support RCS which is a deal breaker for me currently
