I know people always say that, but there still needs to be executives so there’s still humans to be held accountable.
The vast amount of middle management are useless, but there has to be a human sitting in a chair above the chatbot for legal liability. Otherwise the board will just blame the chatbot for everything.
That also doesn’t mean they should be paid so much, just that a human needs to be above the chatbot as far as final authority

Most of the “mathematical breakthroughs” from AI have been done by loading all available recent research from humans solving the problem, and then collating it while skipping reviews and telling the humans who did the work it would literally be “too complicated” to explain the AI didn’t actually do anything…
It’s all just lies to drive up stock prices, what they release appears to be stuff that would be released shortly anyways, it’s just being dumped at once 99% of the way done before it’s verified.

People who strongly identify as LGBT, hate Chick-fil-A more than they hate McDonald’s, despite McDonald’s working closely with trump, treating their workers much worse, and serving vastly unhealthier food. And their CEO probably being just as against LGBT as chicfila’s.
All that matter is chicfila is “a bad tribe” so anyone that doesn’t treat that specific tribe as 100% an enemy, becomes an enemy of everyone slightly connected to LGBT in their eyes.
It’s not logical, but I understand why they’re doing it.
It just sucks that same behavior is exploited for issues much larger than a fucking chicken sandwich. If they “fight” chicfila with shit like comments in this thread, they get the same dopamine hit as doing anything productive, and then are less likely to actually be productive.

The entire reason these are perfect is it’s near boiling water surrounded by deep sea near frozen temps. You don’t get that anywhere near a shore. And even if you did, doing it 20 miles or 200 miles from any shore is the same amount of effort.

The only way to avoid negative environmental consequences I’ve seen implemented is Japan using geothermal vents in the ocean.
They harvest the heat for energy, and the ocean (that would get heated up anyways) for cooling.
The net effect is an artificial reef and spreading the heat out further in a temperate zone that facilitates biological growth.
I don’t think there’s any scenario that actually works on land. Maybe out in the middle of the desert powered only by solar and using an absolutely massive heatsink that dumps it all over night when the desert is cold. But the cost for that would be insane.
Once they’ll built they’ll start to argue that they pollute anywhere so might as well stay there…
