I feel seen. I usually come back around eventually. Got a desoldering station and microscope for xmas and that let me finish a few projects so far this year.

Silver is the better conductor. Even if it is priced so that peons can afford it.

You don’t understand how many tabs I need open.

Never really used discord in the first place. I tried to join a few support threads for random gizmos that had no forums but realized that its a terrible place for support compared to forums. The whole UI was just chaotic to me as well.

Just in time to “defend” the “results” of the 2028 election.

Move fast, and kill all humans.

Somehow stocks will go up.

I just put my desktop on pika, its nice. Maybe a little better performance than stock Debian in games, but i could be imagining things.
I like the bird sounds it uses as system sounds. Drives my dog crazy looking for whats making tge sound.

Yeah but only Sega has Mega power and blast processing.
Maybe look into a BC-250 build. Basically a binned PS5 chip but you can overclock it to make back some of the performance.

That or i got a fairly recent office PC that had an AMD 8700G and 32 GB of DDR5 on ebay for 400 bucks. Slapped in a 9060xt and its a sub 800 dollar build. Didn’t do enough research though and found out the 8700 only has 8 PCIE lanes even though bios and specs list x16. Oh well, it performs well enough for now.

I feel like I go through the whole alphabet of options before giving up and rtfming.

I do too. Its pretty good but I feel not as good as search engines used to be. Though through no fault of its own. I just think garbage sites have paid for SEO and clog up results no matter what.

Idk how anyone searches the internet anymore. Search engines all turn up so I ask an AI. Maybe one out of 20 times it turns up what I’m asking for better than a search engine. The rest of the time it runs me in circles that don’t work and wastes hours. So then I go back to the search engine and find what I need buried 20 pages deep.
I used to a lot as a kid. It was pretty much the only way to get some more obscure games.
I pretty much stopped in the mid 2000s except for some collectors editions of games that I was 99% sure were going to be great Halo3, Fallout3, New Vegas etc. I still do the same thing now with the odd switch collectors edition xenoblade chronicles, the final fantasy pixel remasters, unicorn overlord but those were games I was 99% sure would be finished at launch.
The rest of the time I wait a year or so until the game is half priced and finished.

I just bought a used HP office computer basically for the 32 GB of DDR5 (only 5200 but I’ll take it) on eBay. Just gonna throw a 9060xt in it for now. Combined its a sub 700 build. I’ll probably swap it to a new mobo and case next year as the power supply is a little underspeccd and I believe the HP pinout is nonstandard. Maybe I’ll just jam a flex PSU in there and pin the cables to match.
Look into volumio to make a whole home music streaming solution. You can buy various pi Hats to get better DACs than the internal pi one.

Oh good it can fit the next Call of Duty game.

WTF is Antigravity?
I was conned by this.
