Hope the game continues to underwhelm. The asshat art thieves at Bungie deserve to go under :p
I remember playing the game once and found it intensely mediocre.

Krafton’s Lionel Hutzes have swiftly fired back in their own letter. “Papoutsis’s message was simply celebrating the UW employees’ efforts toward a past event: Krafton’s pre-Opinion determination that Subnautica 2 was ready for Early Access release,”
Lol the doofuses at Krafton actually hired a lawyer named Lionel Hutzes. No wonder they lost the case XD

Aren’t these guys the asshats that tried to take the rights to Star Control away from the original creators?

These are the same assholes who screwed the subnautica devs out of their bonuses to fund AI slop. Watching themselves shoot themselves in the foot in real time is oddly satisfying.

Ah, the funeral director has arrived!

Pretty sure they’re hiring to display “growth” and please the shareholders. In another year or so, one of the execs looking to meet KPIs to qualify for their outrageous pay package will “cut costs” by laying off everyone they hired the previous year 😮💨
This is amazing!

Whole community with that mindset btw!
The only game I couldn’t wait for in the last 15 years was Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. That shit broke down my walls in more ways than one 🥲

Ah shit they bought up HBO? 😭

I came to depend less on the visual cues which are often deceptive and more on the audio ones or counting in my head for dodges/parries. Also invest heavily (basically all your points) into defense/vitality which makes Dodge/Parry misses much more forgiving.
Eventually, even if you only do a smattering of side quests/areas, you’ll get powerful enough to basically ignore the timing mechanics altogether.
Also set it on story mode + auto QTEs. I did that on my first playthrough and had absolutely no regrets. The mechanics of the game are definitely secondary to the experience of the story.

You taking about krafton screwing the creators?

Agree 100%. Played updated X-Com 1 and 2 once through and thought they were fine but just that everything was too clean and on rails. I didn’t think those games provided any particularly memorable experiences for me.
I’m still playing the 90s version to this day because I remember this one dude who was the lone survivor out of his 12 man squad during an early terror mission that went south really fast. He quickly emptied his initial ammo loadout, had to run through enemy fire to scavenge weapons from his fallen comrades scattered across the map, and changed weapon types at least twice because there were no more rifle clips to be had anywhere on the map. He surprisingly finished that mission and carried on to the end of the game as a living God of war.
I still remember that shit to this day and keep playing with the hope that such an epic story will unfold again.
The only game I’ve ever pre-ordered was FF3/6 but that was because you needed a physical cartridge in limited supply to play it back then.
Preordering a game you can download digitally is the height of stupidity unless you specifically want to give an interest free loan to a creator you really want to support

I mean they got to give the other games a chance at winning something this year 😁

Published by Krafton, the same fucknuts that screwed the Subnautica 2 creators out of their $250 million dollar bonus to plow into some lame AI venture 🤮
Hope this game turns into a Concord level disaster.

Good list of everything I can think of on there
