That’s just a coincidental side effect

Moto tag’s sleek silhouette was designed specifically to fit perfectly with most third-party accessories already on the market so that users can easily attach it to all their valuables.
That is the part that is really good.
I think they bought it
Remember when YouTube had a use full real name policy? Arguing it would improve comment quality and would stop harassment etc. Yeah, didn’t quite work out at all and thankfully they let the policy fizzle.
Know many people who bought Threema on Google Play
Could it happen that you already deleted the original file because you thought, well I have it in the important tab, but now will lose that copy when Google removes that tab and be left empty handed? Not sure how this tab works
I’m using official flatpak Firefox because I didn’t want to wait any longer for Fedora releasing their rpm version of it. This way I get new releases right away and they are official as intended by Mozilla.
Not really a flatpak advantage, but a Firefox advantage.
Endless paper and needle printers? Using a floppy? Well I’m glad not to have to use those anymore.
If you can get away with it, just don’t buy printers.
Who are you kidding?
Explain-like-I’m-five vibes, from, you know, that other site. Maybe we need that on Lemmy as well
That’s from that Diablo presentation back then right? The audience wasn’t too happy, lol. But looking where we are now Diablo seems to be doing great on desktop and mobile.
Debian if you want to stay with deb packages otherwise there is Fedora or OpenSUSE
Fairphone should have added a system level override that users could have opted in to and make the sensor lie about its class. Or even outright make it lie period. It wouldn’t mean a downgrade in security as it just keeps the previous behaviour which apparently was accepted.
Has the most compelling hardware features of any Fairphone yet looks like. Also, quite like the design compared to their previous attempts.
No eSIM though? It does have eSIM.
Also hope the software or rather firmware stuff is good. And would like to see some competent camera review.
Also, gotta say, funny how all the headphone jack die-hards from r/Android ended up here. As every single other comment here currently complains about it missing.
What’s c/selfhosted opinion on something like this?
Bollocks. For example in Germany, online petitions on a government run website that reach a certain threshold of people signing are automatically discussed in parliament.
And in the Firefox case here, no idea what they are planning but they could for example hand over the printed out signatures or dump them in the politicians post box or whatever. Have some fantasy.
So educate them?
Imagine they start blocking access to their repos for other clients… 🫠
