Oh wow! I had no idea. I think of it in money schemes. Thanks !

Make RAM Doubler Real 👏

I wonder if some people don’t understand that saying anymore. “Get that bag” means getting a full money bag. “Left with the bag” or “left holding the bag” means you have an empty money bag that has been emptied by others.

Chromebooks and Chromecast both seemed to be really successful, affordable and focused things. Very Google, and different from Apple and Microsoft’s style of doing things.

Yet here we are, with both of them phased out or being phased out. I don’t get it.

Well, I expect this to be patched asap now that it has leaked. Apple has been quick to patch things when such leaks happen. Hopefully that’s the case here too.

It’s always an “it’s inevitable” argument.

Is it aliens? It’s gotta be cause of aliens.

They just need that fancy controller openAI made. Then it’ll be an approve button instead.

Hell yeah

Old Graphics Layer. OGL.

Man, makes me feel old too.

They are the smallest glasses that do true AR where things are mapped and placed overlaid in the world. Other glasses that are more glasses sized don’t do this yet.

Is it just open weights again?

Your vibe checker calibration is bad man.

Five diablos! Damn.

It’s looking nice. Hopefully all the details are good too. This seems like a direction HMDs should go in to address comfort.

booo

Maybe nerd is too specific. I just mean “online people” I guess. But I personally have a focus on tech, games, video, etc. It’s something I’m increasingly self aware about, after spending the time since 2020 more online. Including in synchronous online spaces.

The spaces I’m talking about felt very different to me 15+ years ago. And the synchronous space I’m talking about felt very different 9 years ago.

Anyway, you’re not wrong. Your framing is still the people I mean. And now I see their type around me in more spaces. And yeah, it’s funny how it’s always a baselsss ban.

This is one of my biggest complaints about Lenny lemmy. And it has given me a new perspective on those around me in nerd spaces. 😔

I really feel like Lenny amplifies and concentrates it in a way that makes it more visible at times. And GTA6 is an example.

Looks great.

And people upset about how the preview was posted are just looking for additional reasons to be upset with Rockstar.

Be upset about more important things, like labor issues, crunch, union busting, no physical release, etc.
