Why not improve the security with an arms race? Keep it legal and the responsibility of the manufacturer to make a secure vehicle.

I have a small collection from friends that use the disposables. What do you use them for? I had the idea to make keychain flash lights or a battery conversion of some kind.

If you remove the sim card and control boards they are just bare components.
