Have you tried using kvaesito? I have the same gripe as you about minimal launchers and I find kvaesito very aesthetically pleasing. Although, I don’t think I’ve looked through their privacy policy

This reminds of when I forgot my laptop password for like a day. I had already installed a new distro and somehow just typed in the old password on pure muscle memory

I can spend most of a day with close friends but if I don’t spend a few hours alone then all of a sudden my vocabulary is limited to monosyllables and everybody’s too loud and annoying. Before I realized this, I thought I was just a really bad friend or something

I kind of do the opposite where sometimes I notice something but I don’t say anything cause I assumed everyone else did too. But when something else happens because of that thing it turns out nobody else saw it other than me. Then I’d feel guilty for not speaking up earlier. So now I just point out stuff even when it seems painfully obvious

I’m not entirely sure what the first spark was, but I’ve always loved tracing the etymologies of words seeing how they transformed from one language to another has always been huge for me, how languages with similar origins could be drastically different.

I’m also in love with “Old English”-like dialogue in fantasy novels.

I think it’s also related to my obsession with comparing programming languages, I’ve spent way more time learning new ones rather than actually writing code, it’s just really fascinating reading about how they approach the same things differently

I had this set-up a couple months ago, no glaring issues that I can remember, but I also don’t have any fancy hardware so…
