11·2 years agoThere are several effects this could have on Earth and the atmosphere. The presence of these particles could affect how water freezes into ice in the stratosphere, and influence the size of stratospheric aerosol particles. They could also induce salt deposition on aerosol particles, and alter the stratospheric refraction of light.
These may seem like subtle changes, but they could have unintended consequences that we really ought to investigate, the researchers say.

2·2 years agoI’m basing my comment on my life experience of growing up in the 80s and 90s. Most people in the time period did not use computers. A lot of people thought they were nerdy. So someone like Joe Biden who is a “cool guy” politician almost certainly never touched one until he needed one for work. Total supposition on my part but I would put money on it.







I used to drive my 2004 Xterra through 2 feet of powder. A good SUV should be able to handle some snow if it has decent clearance under the body.
