Considering I’ve paid for the Sync app multiple times, and the price for the Lemmy version is one of the highest cost apps, I think it’s at least reasonable to expect at least a minimal amount of communication.

If it really was “already polished” and “older than Lemmy”, why do I have to pay again and a significantly higher price for Lemmy integration when I already paid for the “already polished” parts?

I figured it would be a reasonable price increase because Lemmy is constantly changing and still somewhat young, so that means more frequent updates to keep up. But I’m not exactly seeing that, and the lack of communication on top of that is frustrating.

While I totally understand your frustration, and I myself have moved on to jerboa and still sub here and have the app installed, but haven’t opened it in over a month.

This is the exact same dev style sync has always had.

Supply and demand. Fewer users, more individual contribution to make it worthwhile to spend cycles on.

Honestly the answer there is simply that he had to charge a smaller number of users more. I’m not defending it to be clear, it’s just how it seems to be.

I don’t recall paying for the Sync lemmy app. Is there a way to have this without paying? Or did I pay for it and don’t remember?
