Played through the game a year ago, being interested in the 2d Zelda-esque gameplay.

It’s now among my all-time favourites. I still play it from time to time. Really excited for Project Terra!

It’s crazy, I have 80 hours in this game and love it a lot but never came close to finishing it.

I picked it up in Early Access and went all the way to the frost dungeon, which was where content ended.

I picked it up on release and played up until the desert dungeon, then stopped playing because I got busy.

I the picked it up like 2 years later and forgot where I stopped or what I was doing. I want to play it again but I feel like I need to start a new game again.

I feel like this is actually a case where the game lets you get back up to speed reasonably well. It keeps a log of recent dialogue, the story summary in the journal is quite detailed, and the open world provides a good environment to get back up to speed with the combat.

Very common issue with long games unfortunately. I’ve done the same with Omori, Hollow Knight, and some others.

I finally managed to play the entirety of Hollow Knight from the beginning though, and will do the same with Omori soon hopefully. I don’t think there’s a solution for this.
