31·2 years agoThis is why I recommend Mint with Cinnamon DE. Same reasons. It’s always interesting to see someone come to a different conclusion with the same reasoning. 🙂
I highly doubt the PineTime is stable and reliable enough for the mainstream.

21·3 years agoArmbian was the most promising when I had mine, but still wasn’t ready. I just couldn’t get into manjaro, but every time I loaded a new OS the screen would die, come back, flciker and a “shadow” around the perimeter of the screen.

71·3 years agoI remember getting a PineBook Pro when it came out. Seemed like a great machine but the screen failed in less than a week. Thankfully they refunded me but it was disappointing.

12·3 years agoLast time I tried to introducing my family to an alternate messaging that wasn’t the default app on their phone I started getting messages in both places with no rhyme or reason to why they would use one over the other.

4·3 years agoWhat the benifit of something like bitwarden over using the build in ones in Android/iOS/Windows/MacOS?
For me it’s the camera. If the best camera I have is the one with me then the one with me is going to be the best I can buy (within reason) if they could get Samsung or Pixel quality (or iPhone I guess) that would be awesome.
