  • Anyone know if it’s possible to take a program and “decompile” it? Like reverse engineering or something so it could be verified to be “clean?”

I imagine with all the resources the government has they could achieve such a thing if they were really concerned about national security and not really just worried about metas profits.

I mean what would Elon buying it have really changed about the actual code of the apps? It would just change who gets the profits, no?

  • It’s like they’ve all forgotten about the 4 boxes.

They took the soap box with segregated “free speech zones,” militarized police action against protest, propaganda, and algorithms to hide “radical” unorthodox content.

They took the ballot box with Citizens United and gerrymandering.

They took the jury box with corrupt judges and the complete lack of civil education for the common person to even know what jury nullification is.

The only remaining box is the cartridge (ammo) box.

  • So this won’t be a common issue, but just an example of “the future” Microsoft flight simulator is going to stream in almost all assets, textures, simulation results etc… they have a recommended bandwidth of 50mbs but I believe someone tested it and its more like 180 so just playing that game would mean you’re blowing through a data limit, it’s not something you could ever just download and just have on your local system.

I would also Imagine streaming video is quite high on the consumption of limits. I have no idea what the rates are on a video call type thing most people who work from home have to deal with, but that can’t be all that low as well.
