Yup same. And I did not think there were that many games in production with quite that level of production.


It might have been due to the format of the body of your post as well. Since you just paste the first few paragraphs they might think it’s your opinion if they don’t open the article first. Which probably most don’t do.


They have stopped production but I feel like they are still invested in the AVP ecosytem. They still have their new NBA thing going on and are still updating the OS quite frequently.


Damn that’s a low price considering all the problems it fixes.

Hm yeah that would be nice. I’m just not sure if the headset can draw that much, as others have said, it might just be the maximum speed it can charge at.


You are right about the title, I can’t believe I just read over that first part of that paragraph. Even my other post of the climbey dev talking about his devkit shows a much lower power draw.

I do agree the performance seems a tad bit disappointing and you are right, we should all manage our expectations regarding standalone. As shown in the second video, foveated rendering (not streaming) does show some promise however. If only developers were able to easily implement it, and were pushed to do so. The performance gains seem huge.
I do think tho that the better usage for the Frame is going to be flat screen games in standalone, and wireless PCVR for VR. At least it should be good quality wireless VR with their tech.


Yeah, the only thing that worries a bit is the fact that he doesn’t show climbing but it does look really cool.
