Since Steam implemented the notes feature, I can remember what to do, like if I don’t have time to explore a place but the game already marked visited simply because I went there, etc.

0·22 days agoSome features seem to limit the working area to only the middle part of the browser. For example, the Multi Tool use 100% width but the Editor uses 33% only. Would love to see all features making full use of the screen size.

0·22 days agoUnsure it fits your scenario but you could use VBA. In my case, we collect data via Excel then they get populated into a Word report template, and finally export to PDF for project delivery purposes, all automated using VBA.
Try alltalk_tts v2. One of the features is you can provide an audio sample and the AI will imitate the voice. The overall quality is pretty good, if you choose a larger model and let it run.
I couldn’t figure out how to setup Pihole with Unbound so I use Technitium. Thank the Lord it exists.

Games@lemmy.world•I finally decided to go full piracy against big companiesEnglish
7·4 months agoJust curious. Is piracy your strategy to kill the big companies, since you really want to consume their products but don’t want to pay, because of your stated reasons?
For the sake of discussion, is it not possible for you to not buy products from big companies but also not consume their products?
Using myself as an example, I hate EA so much I don’t install any of their products on my machine. Or I hate Adobe so I don’t use it at home (the workplace is uncontrollable). I don’t pirate their products as there are alternatives, and I cannot imagine how I may enjoy them since I cannot forget who made them.
Is there a good option that can export the whole Wiki into a PDF with hyperlinks to different chapters and such?

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Blocking releasegroups from Sonarr/Radarr [edit] or rather blocking malware regardless of nameEnglish
0·4 months agoTake a look at Profilarr. You can set fine custom conditions to block anything you want.
Well, their artists did make additional assets though, even if they may be recoloured versions.
Don’t forget how many years it went live and the absurd number of expansion packs.
Basically Tesla, oof

Games@lemmy.world•Baldur's Gate 3 or Clair Obscur: Expedition 33?English
1·5 months agoYou could get GamePass and play Expedition 33 at a cheaper price.
Also, three examples you quoted are both first person based, while BG3 is not.

0·6 months agoI mean, the kids don’t need to log in YouTube to view Shorts. What’s the purpose of setting up anything account related? I missed anything.

Honestly, I do not plan to buy it after Below Zero. Now that they did all the evil stuff I guess my decision is well justified.
I feel like I’m doing something illegal by calling my home a lab. Might be thinking too much ;) Jokes aside, I’m not really testing or inventing anything so I genuinely don’t understand where the lab part comes from.
My major pet peeves with games is that features available in a game are often absent in a sequel, or revamped for no reason. Unless a game receives critical reception these days, I often buy games that have been released a year ago to increase the chance they get fixed with patches.
Example: the notorious Civilization series.
