It’s a private school though, so I’d be cautious about assuming they’re poor kids.
Edit: Yeah, it costs £27000!!!
I’m assuming all he means is that he uses Google photos to store his pictures, so Google is the one hosting them.
I don’t know, I can see the full headrest getting more powerful and people using it as their main work device - especially with people working from home.
For that use case I don’t think it would need to go all the way to at headset, just a bit lighter with a bit more battery and a bit more power and a few more killer apps that make it feel worthwhile.
how do you define successful?
Google phones are some of the most popular in the marketplace (and their os is the most popular in the world) and Google pay works absolutely fine - I use it everyday, albeit with the new name of wallet.
How feasible would it be to create toggle-able filters. e.g. I could toggle a sports team community when I haven’t seen the result of a game.
Mine isn’t. It might be worth dropping some details about your phone, e.g. model and OS.
But that would exclude people who don’t want to or can’t afford the subscription.
This way LJDawson is letting people choose.
What financial model would you like sync to operate under?

I have the same flow as you. You can set the FAB (floating action button to hide read posts).
I mean, they are going to be pulling from a similar pool of users. While I agree philosophically that FOSS is better, I can imagine some of the paid features from someone being able to dedicate themselves full time to developing an app may be preferable.
Love this app at the moment - it will have a fight when SyncForLemmy comes out.
Yeah, you’re probably right, but as a game pass subscriber I can’t say I’m not a little disappointed.
thanks
