i dont know how to manage a public server but for a little home lab server it worked half decent

as long as you arent pushing it too had a wire rack or one of the laptop cooling plates work well but i am not sure what would be best if you are pushing harder than that

and i pretty much constantly kept it plugged in when it was online so battery capacity was not a major concern for my use case.

you can also turn older mac devices into home servers pretty easily, one of my most used personal devices is a 2012 macbook pro running kali linux.

to be clear its still a macbook so its slow as fuck and overheats all the time but i dont have money so it works

tried to use it but couldnt make any of my old computers handle it

I have tried nix but so far all I have managed to do is misformat the config file and brick the laptop I put it on 4 or so times.

Any suggestions on actually using it

I don’t like the group because they seem to do some weird shit with their licensing and some other stuff so I moved away from all of the software they put out but I really like the keyboard so I haven’t gone away from it
