How about shutting your mouth and consuming what we show you. No one’s asking if you’ve seen it already. Watch the ads!

And let’s make the video be an ad too, why waste time.
Not in space, though?
It sounds like an asocial network - something for me finally, perhaps :)
That is the tear-layer, isn’t it?
I’d argue that gambling doesn’t really have good sides and alcohol is ambivalent at best. We could compare it to other media like TV, that’s perdectly ok. But when it comes to restrictions concerning other media, they are not as strict and act mostly like guidelines for parents.
There are good and bad ways to use a phone. It’s not comparable to things like cigarettes.
You don’t pay a plumber every single time you use his work 15 yrs after his death.
Laws can allow exceptions and protect minorities. Laws are not always black and white, just like most of reality.
It’s important because it means there will still be a lot of PCs going to a landfill. That’s how the duscussion started.
How old is she?
I think that’s what doublejay1999 is talking about. Look out for the hidden /s.
I’m aware of the depandence on definition.
I don’t know. The cybernetic part is just not prominent enough for me. It just makes me feel like they want to mask the fact that they’re using living organisms to make their experiments seem more appealing and less body horror.
I understand it depends on the definition, but I feel like using the word robot for something created from living cells is a bit of a stretch.
I agree with you. I think twitter was as good for progressives as it was for nazis and Elon and others couldn’t have that. The fact that we’re not discussing this on Twitter and not even on Reddit, but on this beautiful but obscure platform, showd it all works well for the nazis.
Well, getting rejected IS usually an unpleasant experience. You can value someone’s friendship and still find it an unpleasant experience to be rejected by them. Then, ideally, you act grown up about it and you can remain friends. But the feelings can be pretty unpleasant.
Where did they say they found the connection or the person unpleasant? Did I overlook something?
I don’t even know them and don’t know how they really behave, but I feel like it’s unfair to jump to the worst conclusions about someone based on just a few neutral lines of text.
Spending time with people is how you get to know people better. It’s how you make friends. You can start feeling something to some of them and it’s ok to ask them out if that’s the case. There’s nothing in what jjjalljs wrote that says they were spending time with the people for the sole purpose of finding a date.
I hate this kind of titles that try hard to make science sound esoteric. Science is exciting enough by itself!
I think there’s some kind of general fascination with rich people ingrained naturally in the human mind. It’s not just in comics. It’s present in many fairy tales, mythology, religious books…
Iagree it can help the rich to get away with things. But I also think it’s not fair to blame authors for using good old archetypes, while I also support kindhearted critique of those archetypes - it’s important to understand their role in social context and to make authors aware of the downsides.
