there are common definitions for both terms. the employees aren’t shareholders as long as they don’t own a part of the company, but they are stakeholders since they have something to do with the company. their partners, publishers, etc. are stakeholders too
the post is talking about Meta though
steam deck is NOT a proper replacement for a work desktop, ymmv
they’ll just start forcing you in case you want to play cross-platform instead
sunshine/moonlight works for me, even though steam link crashes after 10s
it would be amazing if they could just add a mobile ui to Smarttube (best android tv app imho) - it supports login, adblock, sponsorblock & dearrow, you can cast to it, etc. - and it’s updated constantly, via a prompt in the app, no external download or play store necessary

while i see where you’re coming from, being able to message WhatsApp users from a client app that respects privacy would be better than being forced to have WhatsApp installed on your device, with it snooping casually on your everyday device usage and your contact list and so on.
WhatsApp is the only Facebook app on my phone and i’d love to get rid of it without losing the ability to message all those buffons using it (which make up for 99% of my social circle)
moving from signal to discord is not going to be exactly helpful for your privacy, discord is completely unencrypted

yeah Apple doesn’t take away your features, it just slows down your old device altogether so you’re forced to buy a new one
I’ve officially removed Netflix
