Also note that 100km is the minimum height to be “in space”, not the minimum height for achieving orbit.
That doesn’t really mean anything. You could achieve an orbit at a lower altitude if you wanted to, it would decay faster, but you could do it. The 100km karman line is an arbitrary thing, there is no solid line where on one side you can orbit and on the other side you can’t.
I agree; the comment I was replying to seemed to imply that there was a minimum height requirement, or height by itself equaled orbit. But that’s just my interpretation of it.
Well this seems like a bad semantic argument to me.
Maybe it is, but personally I prefer to see the result 100% finished. I am very impressed by the booster catch, and the non-stop camera feed on Starship was awesome, but I would like to see a full mission before saying that they reached orbit. And to me, demonstrating capability usually means doing it.
So what you’re saying is that SpaceX deliberatly doesn’t let Starship orbit, to keep reentry predictable. Which is what [email protected] said; they don’t actually orbit.
Also note that 100km is the minimum height to be “in space”, not the minimum height for achieving orbit.
Finally, I disagree with the note that having “enough fuel” to reach orbit means they have demonstrated such capability; I believe they easily could achieve this, but they haven’t actually demonstrated it yet.
I feel like a daily thread is fine, but then others should post in the comments. Multiple threads with basically the same content feels redundant.
Twitter wasn’t profitable right? So most of the “value” is in the name of the product. Elon changed the name and added his signature to everything the platform was doing, completely changing the platform Twitter is. So yeah, I do get why 75% of the money is gone now.
He tried to back out, I don’t think any of this was about anything. He’s just a dick with a weird sense of humor.
Also keep in mind this is peak concurrent players. I imagine the MAU is much higher, since most of the world doesn’t game at the same time.
You can go to the desktop mode and install the GOG launcher. Then after installing your games, open Steam and add the games as non-Steam games. They’ll show up in game mode as well.
The Heroic Launcher can add your games from GOG, EGS, and some others iirc to Steam automatically. I believe there are other, supposedly better options too, but I can’t remember the name(s) right now. Also don’t remember what (if anything) was wrong with Heroic.
Maybe provide some personal insight, instead of basically just posting an ad.
It appears they are suing OceanGate, the company that made the submarine. The use of cheap, consumer grade hardware for critical functions (literally controlling the sub) is one of their criticisms.
And isUneven which just calls isEven and returns the opposite lmao
Based on the article they are more expensive than li-ion batteries (for now), so probably not yet. And the article doesn’t mention anything about this, but I imagine there would be scaling issues.
It is supposed to work. But it is a beta, so it isn’t perfect yet. There’s a steam discussion forum where you can report bugs like this.
Depends on what you configure it to. You can select the recording bitrate, and the amount of time it records for in minutes. I have selected 24mb/s (highest available currently) for 240 mins, and it says it’ll take up a maximum of roughly 40-45 gigs.
You select a time period in minutes as input. It’ll spit out how much storage it’ll take up based on that + the selected quality (bitrate). I have selected 240 minutes and 24mb/s (highest available bitrate at this time), and the estimate it gave me was 40-45 ish gigs.
Edit: based on the OP screenshot, 60 min at 24mbs takes up 10.8gb:
60/10.8*500/60 ≈ 46.3 hours, nearly 2 days @ 500gb max storage.
FSR1 doesn’t have frame gen though, which is what the commenter wishes for.
I doubt it, there are some grammar mistakes in there I think. At least, it doesn’t look like the typical ChatGPT writing style.
Wooting has options for emulating controller inputs, like joystick axis and triggers. The default is a binary toggle for which the actuation can be changed, though. Makes sense in regard to typing and such.
I only have my founders and a white controller, but besides that I did make a profit on Stadia! I sold the Chromecasts that came with the Founders and première kit. Also, I got the premiere kit free with Cyberpunk.
Only thing that wasn’t a direct profit was the founders entry, but that was a birthday gift to me.
Although I have a great pc now, I still miss Stadia…
All I want is a Vivaldi based on Firefox
