Ive run a servarr stack for media with Plex for a long time, but recently deciding to degoogle led me to start replacing services like Photos with Immich, and it snowballed from there. The more the merrier!

Since a lot of comments are arguing your point OP I just want to comment that I agree. Theres no reason to force email registration for self hosted services, it’s very annoying.

As a user who uses a VPN and doesn’t store cookies, I have to wait up to a minute basically every time I visit one of these sites. But I get it. I blame the bots, not the admins.

To no longer be able to trust video evidence is a big deal. Sure the sky isn’t falling, but this is a massive step beyond what Photoshop enabled, and a major powerup for disinformation, which was already winning.
