Just use the 1.1.1.1 app, or on your computer (or router) change the DNS to 1.1.1.1
Indonesia is soft blocking via DNS only, very easy to bypass.

On mobile I’d suggest Fennec instead of stock Firefox since you can use add-ons without limitation, and don’t need workarounds such as the Firefox nightly.
It’s basically stock with enabled add-ons, and following the official release cycle with 2-3 days delay. Maintained by the original developers of the F-Droid store, so also a highly trustworthy source IMHO.
You had to message LJ to add your email to the approved tester list… It’s a pre-beta release with invitation only, not a public beta where everyone can apply. But it should be out soon anyway!
There were only 100 slots available (maximum google permits for unverified apps), they got taken up real quick through the discord.
Verification by Google usually doesn’t take too long though, so hopefully the first public beta will be out soon.
Did to test it with some 4k movies or games with a refresh rate above 60hz?
With lower res movies, games, photos and static UI, you can’t spot it anyway.
I take it off for showering and the holes wear out from opening and closing it daily. I know they are waterproof, but don’t want to be wearing anything in the shower.
Got a MiBand as well. Had the first one, then the 3, and now I believe the 5 or 6.
Only replaced them because new wristbands were hard to come by after 2 years respectively, the battery was still going strong.
Now I’ve bought 10 straps right from the start and am only on number 4, another 2 years in. Let’s see if I can beat the battery this time.
Depends, is OxygenOS considered custom? I’m running a rooted and largely (manually) degoogled stock version.
I did, at some point settings got lost between updates and then a later version crashed on startup, that’s when I switched.
Thunder. I tried every single Android app, and this is the only one without any major issues.
Sync for Reddit had that feature, and since it’s a port (with rewrite) I’m assuming that’s coming sooner or later.
The memes aren’t worth translating, tbh. They are mostly terrible word plays.
The adapters are $1 on Aliexpress. Generally agree though, I’d prefer to have a headphone jack directly and be done with it.
A simple USB-C to 3.5" connector does the trick. No need for wireless headphones.
Yep, same. The only thing bothering me right now is that I keep those “oops, there’s nothing here” timeout message when opening comments to reply, and then a second later they load anyway. Might just change the timeout sensitivity. But that’s really complaining on a high level.
Liftoff had some bugs with link handling and message replies so I switched to Thunder, and it’s been great with a very active and responsive developer. Still, the second sync is out, I’m back to my roots.
Many are functionally better and of course don’t have any ads, but often look utterly terrible, unfortunately.
Yep. Every update breaks something new, and they never fix the old issues. I’ve now switched over to Liftoff, until Sync becomes available. From that point onward I won’t be needing anything else.
It actively shows as “cross-posted” just under the title.
It’s public: https://discord.gg/qYWxqva
They change the invite code every week, so better be quick ;-)
