I default to nanoreview when I do a Google search. It’s pretty comprehensive and easy to scan.
Thanks. I have a pretty old install so my module list is a relic of the time but it makes sense why it still works for me. I’ll edit.
There are workarounds:
Install magisk, add the app to the zygisk denylist before first run.
Install universal safetynet fix and magisk hide props config (modules for magisk).
For some apps, you may have to install them in island so that they can’t detect the magisk app.
Appreciate the pointers!
That’s the one, thanks! I better get to it before Fossil pulls the app. You need to extract a private key from the paired app correct?
Not hybrid watches but Garmin watches have a passive LCD screen that is readable under reflected light and the app is excellent, albeit proprietary.
I have a Fossil hybrid and Garmin Instinct and wear the instinct most of the time. I find the Fossil app too basic and it drains battery. I have heard about an open source app that can sync to them however.
Are you seriously suggesting that a game meant to run on Windows 98 runs better on wine than it does on Windows 98?
$5 to this person OP.
Linux isn’t going to help, and why the hell would you want to buy or pirate (and run the risk of malware) something you already own.
Some banking apps are not working.
You’ll need to do reinstall magisk after every system update, doesn’t take too long.
Oh that’s what I had to do for my Mi 11x/F3 as well. Good to hear. I remember reading that Xiaomi had gone the way of Samsung and completely stopped official unlocks.
I believe the reason they do this is because some resellers were unlocking the bootloader and installing a ROM with malware and selling that off to unsuspecting customers. This delay (and needing to be registered with a phone number) makes that process both impractical and easy to detect.
Is the bootloader unlockable? I’ve been reading that Xiaomi is starting to make it difficult to unlock.
No SD card, yes 3.5mm jack (from the specs and video).

If your device is on this list and you’re technically-inclined, consider installing lineageOS.
Your original discussion with @[email protected], was about power usage while gaming, and the corresponding worst-case battery life. I was referring to this as efficiency.
I understand now that the term was misleading The M1 is 25% more frugal than the M2 under worst-case load.
You are absolutely right about efficiency. Even the (less efficient) M2 is way better than the 6800U for example under single-threaded load. It’s ~5W vs ~15W, around 3 times as power hungry as the M2, while performing slightly worse.
The M1 is around 25% more efficient than the M2.
The post you replied to saying “don’t hate me bro” has an image of Data from Star Trek TNG (you had said that you hate images that are only data)
:)
SD cards don’t perform wear leveling while ssds do. This is why there are specific SD cards meant for surveillance cameras. They have additional wear levelling circuitry at the expense of speed.
So photographers who fill up their sd cards end up writing over the same spots repeatedly and wear them out.
