what am i supposed to do about the tv situation going forward? I’ve looked for dumb TVs for over 6 years and never found a new dumb tv. Do I have to get old units?

i have an asustor nas and i set it up with my hdd raid 1 drives as volume1, and installed my ssd later as volume2. now docker is constantly making my hdds tick and I can’t move it to the SSD because asustor don’t allow it ☠️ so I’m looking at reeeeaaallly testing my backups, wiping the device and reinstalling everything. It’s all in docker so it’s theoretically easy enough 🤞

damn they should really stop making all these new vulnerabilities

haha, totally feel you but highly recommend trying elden ring again after a break! It took me about 5 attempts of dark souls games over 8 or so years before it clicked, and now elden ring would be in my top games

I feel like I’m the only person who didn’t like it? I hated not being able to figure out where to go

Almost like the system is designed to increase wealth inequality 🤯

yeah this explains a lot haha

thank you! I’ve been on linux for years but somehow hadn’t heard of these

NZ’s DIY hardware chain Bunnings is also doing facial recognition in their stores, and I’m amazed people still go. With all the bad shit that constantly happens, you think a random DIY store is going to keep your digital likeness safe?

yeah i do exactly this and it’s very stable and unproblematic. has made a significant difference in my life

if you do Gantt charts, please make sure you implement as many dependency types as possible - most of the power of gantt charts lies in how depencies allow for changing one thing and having automatic adjustment of the entire timeline, but almost all of the tools I’ve used have only implemented “this task starts when that task ends” which is infuriating

Thanks, will do!

just want to update you I finally got it working - thanks so much for your help! 🙏

Thank you! I’m away today but I’ll try these soon, hopefully they fix it!

I struggled with everything else and had to use exiftool to get things working

yeah I also have issues leading back to my ISP

Thanks! 🥰
