If I’m not mistaken, most of Microsoft’s revenue is derived from enterprise, and corporate customers are largely just hands down not willing to accept the risk that comes with premature AI integration. MS is probably also recognizing this, because it seems like they’re backing off Copilot across the board

Yeah but much of the stuff that’s being traded on today lacks a body of evidence with which to make an informed prediction and is essentially random unless someone has insider knowledge

Just a heads up that there’s no such thing as “insider trading” on these betting markets. All of this is perfectly legal, and the platforms actually depend on insiders to improve their “predictive” accuracy. It’s also legitimately impossible to fully regulate this (besides shutting them down altogether, for which I’m totally on board) due to the sheer volume of people who have access to a bit of insider info

It sounds like you’re looking for an excuse to give up on romantic relationships, but the choice is either 1) you desire a romantic relationship or 2) you don’t desire a romantic relationship.
Focus on yourself. Focusing on your age, your mental healthcare system, etc is externalizing, whereas focusing on increasing your openness, assertiveness, and socializing are things you can do to work toward finding a partner. Plenty people in difficult circumstances find partners, and 35 is far from too old to date (it’s never too old to date).
What if you do have ADHD and you could find a treatment that improves some of this for you?

Did I miss something? Is OnlyFans funding AIPAC?

I disagree. Here in Texas, for example, even while politicians push new fossil fuel investments, property owners and private solar companies are deploying small and medium sized photovoltaic projects all over the state. Solar is a higher percentage of our total generation mix every year, 10% of the total last year (<1% 5 years ago), and its growth is dramatically outpacing that of fossil fuels. You won’t see headlines about this, but the market forces are real

What about the seeds they dropped the year prior

Who is “they” in this case

“They” being the University of Oxford?

In the end, it probably isn’t easier at all. Once the yeast is created, yeast is dirt cheap and easy as hell to grow, and wouldn’t require managing a field of wildflowers that are going to drop seeds for the following year when you intend to plant crops there. I’m not saying it’s a good or ethical choice, but the yeast definitely has the potential to be easier and cheaper

Their 2024 gross revenue was about $1.9 billion, so $250 million would be over 13% of their total annual revenue

What does this even mean? According to this article, Palantir was selected for this contract in a rushed, no-bid process several years ago
