I live in American suburbia and have far more miles on my bike than a car. And yes I have kids too. Yes the zoning sucks, but also Americans are just more lazy.
The honest answer is mostly because you are seeing bad photos of him, since Lemmy loves to hate on him and all articles hating on someone love to show bad photos. If you look up positive/neutral articles he looks much better.

Looks promising, I’ll keep my eye on it, might give it a go with some photos to test it out. I wish it weren’t e2e encrypted though, I actually like a lot of the features Google provides (tagging/grouping by feature, looking back, etc)
Lol I’ve been a software developer for 20 years, I’m well aware of what it takes to maintain a server. Which is exactly why I would rather pay someone else to do it

If everyone had an ebike, getting on and off the train would be a complete pain in the ass. I guess if there were lock boxes it might be OK, but hundreds of people trying to get their bike on a train would be a nightmare
I live in an area where parents are pretty much like Zucks parents, both parents are typically professionals and lifestyle is generally middle class. I dont see any kid here growing up to be zuck. But i agree they have a better chance than some kid in the projects
But I was just pointing out that it’s a far cry for Zucks situation (good education, stable home) vs Trumps (here’s hundreds of millions of dollars, do whatever you want)
Lol Zucks dad was a dentist, and his mom was a psychiatrist. Yes they were more wealthy than a majority of Americans, but I wouldn’t call them an inaccessible “wealthy” like Musk or Trump. They were living a comfortable middle class lifestyle.

I just resubbed for Fall of the House of Usher. I’ll watch that and the new Adam Sandler, then will unsub again. I have no problem with paying for things that provide value, but its stupid to keep paying if I’m not going to use it

Netflix does have good shows, but they’re just so few and far in between. I stopped my subscription about a year ago, and haven’t missed it. I’ll resubscribe this month to watch Fall of the House of Usher, then unsub again just because there’s nothing to watch.
Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if others are doing this, the streaming companies catch on, and we pay a bulk amount for a season a la early iTunes again
