You can install “Grub Customizer” and personalize the menu appearance to what you want. Make it look like fallout or anything else. Just read the documentation before changing anything

Use Ethernet on the Mint install to get internet and update the kernel to the latest 6.14. Maybe it’ll then be supported

I like normal understated looking laptops. I do however like RGB keyboards so I can set the color myself, typically red so it’s easy on the eyes at night.
