It’s frustrating to scroll a huge list of languages each time I create a post.
There’s a related bug. When you edit a post, summit goes back to “unspecified” instead of loading the language set while creating the post.

Thanks so much :) I wasn’t sure it’d pique your interest because the post got a few downvotes.

I haven’t noticed the error lately. The accounts were on different accounts. I’ll test it more today and report back if I encounter it.
I could reproduce the error after switching to an account with empty posts from my posts screen.
Client error. Code: 400. Message: {"code":400,"message":"cannot access local variable 'read_language_ids' where it is not associated with a value","status":"Bad Request"}
That makes sense. Thank you for the explanation.

I got it from obtainium (github). You can edit the title and put [solved] at the start. Then everyone will know.

Weird. Setting a default browser fixed it for me. The latest version of summit is 1.83.2. Maybe try updating?

Go to android settings and check if a default browser is set.

Thanks for the tip. :) I am testing from a different instance. Even that 500 error on the other post is gone.
I will report back if the issue persists.

Example post where an image is broken in the feed but shows in the preview screen.

not bad just busy
Glad to know that you’re doing okay. Family first.
We really appreciate you for bestowing this gift upon humanity. I really enjoy Summit.

Hi @[email protected] thanks for replying.
These are the steps to reproduce the issue:
you in the bottom navigation bar (bottom right)user profile(below stats)You can do similar things from other pages too like inbox. I hope I’m a bit clearer this time.

As a philosopher, I have to remind you that humans invented math and physics to model reality.
Humans are not based on physics or math. That would be like saying the earth is based on a globe.

Feels empty and generic like it was written by an LLM. Why did you even ask developers to fill out a survey? You could have asked chatgpt what users thought about Rust too and saved everyone a lot of time.

Thanks that’s a great idea. I will try breaking it up into crates.

I don’t use zellij. Just normal tabs inside kitty terminal.

My system has a midrange amd cpu with 6 cores. I have an ssd.
I think the issue has to do with procedural macros in maud. The project is about 1000 dependencies and 10k loc.
Combined with tailwind classes and a complex ui, the templates get bloated. I have to test this theory.
I tried to manually construct urls to this post for each frontend from my instance. Does that help?
