When it comes to anything TV, I am basically unable to talk about anything current or just about anything live action besides maybe stuff I grew up with. It’s all animated shows/movies for me.
Don’t go expecting a normal adult conversation about TV unless you wanna hear me talk about something like Summer Camp Island, a weird movie like Mutafukaz, or why Franklin is so great in my opinion, especially because of the tie in CD and domino set.
Gimme your top 10 series, maybe your top 10 “you probably haven’t heard of this” if you like.
I pretty much only watch animated (prosopagnosia makes live action considerably more difficult to follow) and am always on the hunt for good new (to me) stuff.
I’ll give you a list in return based on what’s on yours!
No guarantees some of the stuff on the list are things you’ve never heard of, but here goes in no particular order:
- Legend of Luo Xiaohei
- Wakfu
- Code Lyoko
- Calabash Brothers ( the original from the mid-80s )
- All Saints Street
- Fei Ren Zai ( same creators as #5 )
- Reboot ( early 90s 3D Hank warning )

- Quanzhi Fashion ( Full-Time Magister )
I went with shows that may or may not be well known. IDK since I don’t pay attention to how well known a show is.
Also, all episodes of #3 are available legally in yt in original French dub and ENG dub, on 2 separate official channels and someone did upload all 13 episodes of #4 with ENG sub.
Ankama, the people behind Wakfu, also have at the very least season 4 of Wakfu available on yt in ENG dub for as free as you can with ads, but I don’t know about the other seasons. I also personally prefer the original French dub, but that’s just me.
The rest? Don’t know where you’d find them legally ( with ENG subs for the donghua series ) since I don’t do streaming or go to sites like bilibili.

Any of my nearly endless hobbies, but mostly stuff related to music. I also love video games and have been getting more into movies recently. I think I know every fact there is to know about the Lord of the Rings movies (2001-2003), and I’m getting there with Alien (1979) too. I also really like watches. Used to be into fashion but not these days. Probably many, many more niche things too.
