I seriously doubt these fridges need to have any of that firmware added.

I figured this would have happened sooner for every industry.

People resent AI in every way imaginable. I would not even be shocked to find companies who do use AI to be lying about it like this because it is such good advertisement.

It’s overwhelming and makes me panic, especially if it’s last minute. It really needs to be discussed before hand.

I always figured that this would be added for xbox within a year or two, but if they try for PC I really will go onto one of the linux wikis and start swapping immediately.

As someone that’s been stalked twice before the flock cameras are terrifying. I’ve always been taught to keep my head down and avoid attracting attention but it just seems inevitable these days that someone is going to do this.

Yeah it’s difficult convincing people due to sunken cost.

You could be chatting on a better platform that offers everything discord offers for free but you’d have to convince your friends and the servers you frequent to all move.

It’s not about the platform itself as much as it’s about the communities that are all already there.

Even the one person I know who is terrified of losing her account and preemptively set up alternatives on other platforms still won’t leave until something forces her.

Live service gaming is about to get so much worse when companies start obsessing about adding this.
