I think the damage may already be done to Unity. Devs have been moving to alternatives like Unreal and I doubt this walk back would make them change their minds.

It’s amazing to think it has only been a few weeks and I still find it mind blowing how quickly everyone came together for all these projects.

I thought they did a great job after have such a long hiatus between the original Psychonauts.

I noticed that sometimes when I refresh it will be on a totally different post. I don’t know how/why it happens but you are not alone.

Anyone know if there is an app to use for IOS? I’m trying Mlem and I do like where they are going with the app it just bums me out how often it crashes. Also, I hope the influx of ex-Redditors really helps Lemmy and the Fediverse take off.

I am so hesitant to delete my Reddit account. I’ve had it for 12 years and there is a small bit of me that hopes they will fire u/spez and go back to the Reddit I have loved for so long. As long as he is around though I won’t be going back and it really does feel as though they have killed a giant.

I believe they can also decline protection if they so choose although that’s not really relevant to your point.

That was my thought too. Stick him in solitary for his “protection” with the secret service standing guard outside. He stays unharmed but still goes to prison.
